Why it works

The system blocks the same horse from working twice at 11:00, the same instructor from teaching two groups at once, the same arena from being double-booked. Conflicts flag red β with free-slot suggestions.
Many arenas, one schedule
Indoor arena, dressage paddock, jumping arena, lunge ring β each is its own Arena resource. Booking the indoor = indoor blocked, the rest stays free. Filter views: show only the indoor, only one instructor, only one horse.
Drag & drop, like Google Calendar
Moving a lesson takes half a second. The client and instructor get notified automatically. The change is logged in AuditLog β you always know who moved what and when.
Recurring sessions with real exceptions
Anna K. has a private lesson every Tuesday at 5pm for the whole semester. Define it once (RecurringCalendarEntry), the system creates 30 rides. Holidays? Pause the series. Change one week's time? Edit just that event, others stay.
