Compliance status

The site hovera.app is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 at AA level due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-compliances

  • Some product animations lack a text alternative (planned: Q3 2026)
  • Some embedded videos lack captions (added gradually)

What we have done

  • Full keyboard navigation
  • Skip-to-content link on every page
  • aria-label attributes for decorative elements
  • Support for prefers-reduced-motion — animations disabled at OS level
  • Text contrast meets AA (4.5:1)
  • Visible focus on every interactive element
  • Scalable typography (minimum 16px body)
  • Screen reader support (NVDA and VoiceOver tested)
